@elonmusk @maddow Nobody seems to complain that the most visible govt vehicle of all, The Beast, has been based on a Cadillac since 1983, including Cadillac badging. Prior to that, it was a Lincoln. No outcries there.

@FutureAZA Every now and then, I try to imagine what the automotive landscape would look like today if Tesla had failed or had never started at all. Some argue that one of the legacy makers would have (eventually) developed electric cars. No. They absolutely would not have.

@JSE1958 @JamesLucasIT Several square-image medium format (120 roll) cameras were available in 1959, including models by Mamiya, Rollei, Yashica, and Hasselblad. These cameras were (are) capable of VERY high-quality images, depending on the film stock used. Kodachrome was especially nice.
