Looting of arms from security forces, which is a national security issue, has become normalized and continues even after 21 months of #ManipurViolence. Finding out who allowed them (as a diversionary tactic?) is important. This skeleton in the cupboard needs to be addressed.
BIG BREAKING🚨 Today 8/ 2/2025 at 8 Pm, PREPAK (pro) & SOREPA a meitei proscribed militant group LOOTED 02 x AK 47 and 06 x SLR rifle from MR/ IRB (Manipur Rifles) police post stationed at Kakmayai Primary School, Thoubal, 15 kms form Imphal. Events like this are happening even after 23 months of conflict. Because no action was taken against people who initially looted police stations, brandishing looted weapons on social media is now new fashion. If militants like this 👇 can fearlessly roam around and post photos on social media with looted weapons from police stations you can very well understand what is fear of Law and order agencies in the state. @PMOIndia

Dear @ugc_india, one of the minimum qualifications, besides NET, for appointments in universities should be a Ph.D. degree. I would add 2 research articles published in Scopus-indexed Q2 and above journals to the "desirable" criteria.

During the last 20 months of conflict in Manipur, many so-called experts argued that Manipur is a "Hill State". However, an Imphal daily in October 2019 reported about the state govt. demanding hill state status from the centre. Telling a lie with confidence is still not a fact.
