39 years ago Arrow Air 1285R carrying U.S. Army personnel from Cairo, Egypt, to Fort Campbell, Kentucky, via Cologne, Germany, and Gander, NL. On the morning of Dec 12, 1985, shortly after takeoff from Gander the flight crashed 1 km from the runway, killing all 256 on board
