@DeKuip02 Just as well Wilson managed to pop the goal in. Cos Osula’s miss would’ve been repeated forever on football bloopers!! And I think Osula’s is going to be a star!!

@WestHamPlace If Liverpool win the Carabao Cup, it’ll barely register with their support. If Newcastle win it, it’ll be like VE Day for a month on Tyneside.

@Magpie24_7 We’ve front loaded our transfer spend. Essentially, we’re still paying amortisation charges each year for Isak etc. When you hear “we’re only charged £10m for a £50m signing under PSR”, it’s true. But what u don’t hear is that we’re then paying £10m pa for the next 4 years.

@Sandance1888 I’ve got a mate at work who is an Everton season ticket holder. Absolutely loathes DCL. “Heart of a pea” etc. There again he was pretty much the same about Anthony Gordon!! Make of that what you will.

@JohnJoh53849444 Champions League football will have been the main driver for increases in Broadcasting and Match Day income. The key for these figures is the Commercial income. Increased by 67% but still a long way short of the “big 6”.
