The game in question is Suspense: Madman's Dreams. It’s a psychological horror. The game is available on Steam, and you can add it to your wishlist. The demo version will be released soon. This video serves as the intro to the game. #IndieGame #PsychologicalHorror #horrorgame #SuspenseGame #Suspense

Here’s a short video I made today to showcase our asset. Does it look impressive? Scary? Feels like something is missing... Terrifying atmosphere of creepy crawling insects. A swarm of insect have been tested in a quantity of 21,000 at 120 FPS on a Ryzen 5 5600x. The asset uses GPU computation for Niagara, vertex paint for insect limb animation, mesh distance field for surface detection, and HLSL code. This is one of the creepiest things I've ever created in Unreal Engine. The asset is still in progress, but it already gives me chills just looking at it. #UE5Niagara #IndieGameDev #VFXUnrealEngine #UnrealEngine #VFXUnreal

A forced measure and a way to add censorship for the game. To prevent Steam from flagging explicit body parts and to avoid issues for YouTubers, I decided to add an option to enable censorship. For those who need it, the nodes are attached. #GameDevTips #IndieGame #CensorshipOption #SteamGuidelines #YouTubeFriendly

How wonderful spiders are... I’m aware of the flaws, but the issues you’re seeing are related to the mesh distance field of the asset itself. If there are no problems with the distance field, everything looks great. #IndieGameDev #HorrorGameDev #UE5Niagara #UnrealEngine #GameDevLife #IndieHorror #UnrealEngineHorror #NiagaraFX #UE5VFX #SpookyAtmosphere

The Doctor's Game: Suspense Madman's Dreams I don’t know if anyone reads this, so I’ll pour my heart out. I’m exhausted. I put in titanic efforts into everything I do. But I get no reaction. This is a game about people with mental illnesses. Just creating the game itself takes a toll on my mental health. And when the goals I set aren’t realized, it only breaks me further. But I will grind myself to dust if I have to. I will do my best to deliver this game to you, to people. Even if you don’t like it—I just want you to know about it. Damn, I’m starting to get emotional. Enough whining. Pull yourself together, you wimp! I’ve read too much literature on philosophy, psychiatry, personality, and similar topics. The more you know, the harder it is to live. The more ambitious the goals, the harder it is to endure. How simple life would be if I could just do my work and be happy. Just work as a window cleaner and feel satisfied with a job well done. But no—my brain can't sit still. My brain can’t be content with simple joys. I need more. #horror #indiehorrorgame #psychologicalhorror #madness #darkatmosphere #gamedev #suspensestory

I was in a car accident and suffered a severe brain injury—a metal rod literally went through my head. Yes, that’s exactly what I dreamed. But it felt as though I lived through that pain—it was so real. I could literally see the suffering of the people around me. I understood everything, but I could no longer express any thoughts in words. It was probably one of the worst dreams I’ve ever had. At the same time, I was thinking about what I had accomplished and what I would still like to do. It felt like I was conducting a deep psychotherapy session for myself. I realized what I truly wanted—to leave some kind of mark on history. I wanted future generations to not only remember me but also see what I created, something tangible they could experience, not just random social media posts. That’s one of the reasons I started making games—it’s a way to leave a lasting legacy. Some people write books, some compose music, and some create art. I’m also writing a book. But I believe creating games is a more vivid way to pass down a legacy. I don’t know why I’m sharing this here. I don’t think anyone will read it. I’m still new to Twitter, and no one views or shares my posts. I’m not sure if there’s any point in being here at all. But if someone does read this, here’s a thought for you to reflect on: Would you want to leave a legacy? If you earn money, it will be spent. If you buy a house for your descendants, it might be sold someday. Many of the things we leave as an inheritance aren’t really permanent—they’re temporary. But what you create, what can be passed down from era to era—that’s your legacy. I’m simplifying things and speaking in basic terms. I’m not talking about the rare few who change the course of history. I’m talking about simple things in life. That’s it. Give this a repost if you see it.
