Two years ago today, I was feeling defeated and fired from what I thought was my “dream company.”
Now I’m a Media Communications & Logistics Director at a Black-Owned company where I’m constantly reminded how valued and appreciated I am.
Tough times don’t last forever. 🙏🏽
That feeling when your pitches get accepted at a new publication and you get the opportunity to interview and highlight too dope ass Black women! Freelancing is hard work but moments like these make it just a tad bit easier. 😬
I met
@IAMANITABAKER
last night and once she found I was a Black woman in Music Managment she poured into me and completely empowered me with every word. Grateful to even be in her presence. 🤯👸🏽👑✨
Never leave on bad terms with someone in your professional circle. No matter how much you dislike them as a person, remember its always business first. Feelings later.
