Anthony's Carnegie Hall concert.

Anthony was selected to be a member of an Honor Choir to sing at Carnegie Hall on Sunday. The choir was made up of 75 students from 6 different countries and 33 different states. It was beautiful!

Our Bruises Film team is going to State!!! They placed top 6 in the 3A Narrative film category so they continue their run Feb 26 in Austin at the UIL State Film Festival! Their film will be shown on the big screen with a red carpet event! So proud of them! #ColeTheatre

We loaded Mamma Mia out yesterday and this afternoon had our first One Act Play read-through rehearsal! Cole Theatre doesn't take breaks! Here we go again! #ColeTheatre

To my 23 seniors, you have taught me as much as I have taught you. Watching your last performance was so special. Watching you take your final bow was emotional. You singing to me in front of a full auditorium of people after the show was a moment I will never forget. Thank you.

Mamma Mia rehearsals! It was the first day trying out the second story. We can't wait for all of the walls to go up! (We can't attach them until the day of the show since we have to take it down every night after rehearsal.) They will be great! Hopefully you can see our vision.

Tech 1 classes have been studying stage makeup. Today, they were able to apply their knowledge to practical application of old age makeup on their classmates that volunteered to be our models. The students love hands-on projects and opportunities.

Mamma Mia Tech Crew putting in the late hours to work on our largest set ever! 8 students stayed an extra 3.5 hrs tonight after our 3 hr rehearsal ended to complete the second story railings! We can't wait for you all to see the show next week!

Tech Theatre 1 finished up their prop projects and presented them on Tuesday. They had to pick a show, decide on a prop, & create it out of cardboard , glue, tape, paper, and paint. These are just a few of the completed ones (the others preferred not to have their photos taken).

Adv. Tech Theatre is working hard on painting & getting everything cut & prepped set pieces to begin building our 2nd 2story set this school year when we load into the Ft Sam Houston Theatre next week! Real world construction skills being learned! We can't wait for you to see it!

This semester, Musical Theatre class will be studying the history of Broadway and learning performances from each time period. I am so proud of their first one! They took only 2 class periods to learn this performance from "Follies-Favorite Son"! Talented students! #ColeTheatre

Thank you Valero Alamo Bowl & PNC Bank for the Extra Yard for Teacher award! The classroom grant will benefit my students SO much & allow us to do more projects to give back to the community. The football tickets were an added bonus! I appreciate you also coming to our school.
