This term my team has worked so hard, new term, book looks, drop in and CPD. Love leading the team but remember the awkwardness of a Middle Leader, being the stop gap between staff and SLT, it is a hard job!

THIS!! Teachers should be allowed to form the CPD in your school, they are the experts of your school, your students and often know a lot more than you actually think!
I think schools should platform their own teachers expertise about teaching for CPD, look within much more than the habit of looking beyond, esp putting ppl with big external social profiles/footprints above their own teachers obvious experience... and teaching footprint.
