The question I have about the Post Office scandal is that no one seems to have said “This is VERY odd. There seems to have been an explosion of fraud. Among previously unimpeachable postmasters”. Didn’t the statistics alone howl at them that something was wrong?

That Rees-Mogg gaffe was so interesting. Most people think of the police and fire service as authorities and/or experts, whose advice should be heeded in an emergency. At some level Rees-Mogg thinks of them as servants, whose advice can be ignored if he believes he knows better

Funnily enough I learned about the ”impact on ordinary people“ when I did a speed awareness course. You’re five times more likely to die if you’re hit by a car going at 30mph than one going at 20mph, for example.

It's very mischievous of the electorate to tell the main parties to "get on with Brexit" by voting for anti-Brexit parties. Less experienced politicians might easily assume that they don't want to "get on with Brexit".

This "Back to Work" push is interesting. The challenge: to persuade people to spend hundreds of pounds a month of their disposable income to cram into a railway carriage and wipe out 2 or 3 hours of their non-working day. In the knowledge they don't *have* to. Best of luck guys.
