As I get older, I feel that even recovering from a cold is the result of the "god of chance". and the power of wanting to live. I am dumb but it's OK because my wife and I both survived from a cold now. May "god of chance" bless you and us. ★the movie ”生きる=Ikiru=to live."

From today's walk. The wind was very cold, but small plum blossoms were blooming quietly by the roadside. I thought that was a very Japanese beauty. ★My wife is feeling better, and I have seen the plum blossoms; all are good things. I hope you are safe and at peace. thank you.

A friend of mine have a painting I had done in 20s. He sent me a photo. It reminded me of the time I was drawing it. I was definitely in a "to be" state at that time. I was confused, but I was definitely alive.I think that was an irreplaceable time.

The first time I traveled alone, I took a ferry to an island. Looking back, it was a great summer adventure when I was 15 years old. ★I think this is a pleasant picture.

today's walking. Left:early-blooming kawazu cherry blossoms. Right: plum blossoms. It's sunny in Tokyo. but there is heavy snowfall in the northern regions and areas along the Sea of Japan. Japan is a small country, but the weather and temperature vary from region to region.

Aging. I was watching a movie. A hot tea used to be sold at train stations. it's long long ago. I have many memories of buying this tea and an ekiben lunch box on my travels. ★As I get older, even the smallest things can make me want to cry. It was very nostalgic feeling.

Information: This is a picture of "大阪=Osaka" at night sent by my child. Osaka is the second largest city in Japan. It has a different culture from Tokyo. The people are very friendly. The food is also delicious. It is close to Kyoto, Nara, and Kobe.

"朋有り 遠方より来る また楽しからずや" Free translation: Today, an old friend came to visit me. He had cancer surgery a few years ago, but he was in good health now. When I think about it, we've both come a long long way(50ys over). I think it's wonderful just to be alive.

“吉田兼好=Yoshida Kenko (1283-1352) ”said that death approaches me silently not from the front, but from behind, without I even realizing it. and comes suddenly. As I get older, this sentence feels very real to me. “Happy new year” is not an idiom for me. photo is an old olive.
