@bryson_nobles so if they’re already not getting adequate care why bring a child into this world ?

@bryson_nobles if the resources need a reform that means they aren’t adequate… when i say resources i’m referring to government assistance with childcare.

@bryson_nobles people are going to do that anyway. focusing on that just deflects from the actual issue of poor people not having the adequate resources to raise/bring a child into this world and all the resources we currently have for poor people need major reform.

@bryson_nobles obviously the people need help and resources but children don’t just come out of thin air. and the resources that are given need major reform. depending on the gov for assistance is just not realistic look at where our gov is headed.

@bryson_nobles just saying “stop” definitely isn’t going to solve the issue, but actively encouraging people to continue having kids that aren’t being properly cared for as they should due to financial disparity is a poor choice.

@bryson_nobles if the children are here already then that is an entirely separate issue. in the original tweet you quoted the stance was “if you are poor you shouldn’t have children”. telling people to stop having kids they cannot properly care for is just common sense.

@bryson_nobles but the government isn’t providing adequate assistance in those communities… we have to face reality and the reality is that until you have those resources children are unfortunately off the table.

@bryson_nobles poor people on average have more kids than the wealthy. the government is supposed to provide assistance which it does but that doesn’t negate the fact that if you can’t financially support/afford a child you shouldn’t have one.
