@richard_barrs @MatthewPhone @TheChiefNerd I am not saying that. I am saying that primary keys appear duplicate as foreign keys in legit many-to-one relations. That is, SSN will appear to be duplicated when acting as a foreign key, even though it is the primary key for a person.

@richard_barrs @MatthewPhone @TheChiefNerd The SSN *is* unique, even *if* “duplicated”. That is how many-to-one relations work. The *one* relation is not distinct. He is presenting it as a schema problem, not a validation problem. Technobabble using the wrong terms and methods.

@MatthewPhone @TheChiefNerd Independent of database type, he still used the wrong term for what he meant. Unique constraints are not called de-dup. And anyone working with PII knows that it is a terrible idea to key on name. It is how we tell whether one has worked with business data.

@Sausauia @RyanAFournier If that is true, then the appeals court will quickly pause it, right? Or is the whole judiciary in one giant conspiracy against the constitution?

@Sausauia @RyanAFournier The law requires individuals to disobey unlawful orders. Conspiracy to obey the law is not a thing.

@BillAckman NGOs are a conservative idea to shift responsibility from government to private organizations: corporate welfare rather than direct payments. You just want to selectively choose corporate welfare using the conservative system to avoid the universal rules of direct payments.

@paulg Groups have duty. Individuals have integrity. “Duty is the opposite of moral integrity.” They are dutifully following a dictated culture.

@LuxFella He could be talking about not having a unique constraint, but how can we know if he can’t use any technical terms correctly? The more technical he gets, the less accurate he gets.

@CarnunMP @AndrewM36013517 @paulg @BraddrofliT That takes no effort nor merit because using an average (index) grows wealth past inflation, meaning it actually takes active idiocy to fail. Why class migration rates are so low.

@CarnunMP @paulg @BraddrofliT They don’t. The resources create the wealth. But more value returns to the investor than would naturally occur in a Pareto distribution, which explains the lowering of class migration rates.

@CarnunMP @paulg @BraddrofliT In modern times, nearly all wealth creation comes from investments, and returns to the investor. This leads to wealth creation way outside the Pareto distribution, indicating a lack of merit. Class migration rates in the US are low right now, lower than “socialist” nations.

@andrew_tra46088 @Gundisalvus You seem to be saying that if taxpayers stop funding, other oligarchs will fund it, and you want it not funded, which will lead to more oligarch funded media.
