Met Sh. @tarunchughbjp, National General Secretary/Prabhari @BJP4Ladakh at @BJP4India (BJP) Central Office, Delhi, along with Hon'ble Councillor Dr. Morup Dorjay, VP, @AngchukDorje, Senior Leaders @Tonyotleh, Adv. Chairman/CEC, Adv. Tashi Gyalson, called on Hon'ble Union Home Minister @AmitShah Ji at his residence in Delhi, where he expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the Minister's extraordinary support towards Ladakh and its people, he further discussed in depth and details of various important issues pertaining to Ladakh. Adv. Gyalson additionally discussed other issues and thanked the Union Home Minister for restoring the budget of both Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Councils (LAHDCs) and the Union Territory's Sustainable Development Plan (UT SDP), as well as clearing the liabilities under the Border Area Development Programme (BADP). During the meeting, Adv. Gyalson also apprised the Union Home Minister of various ongoing developmental activities in Ladakh. Furthermore, he requested support for streamlining Ice Hockey in the region and securing official recognition for the sport. Requested for opening of more tourism routes such as Galwan Valley and access from Saser La. Admission to Ladakhis in Jammu University and Kashmir University with special allocation of seats etc. This meeting highlights the ongoing efforts of the Union Government to strengthen Ladakh Union Territory, with a focus on driving development, growth and prosperity in the region. @BJP4India
