Given it’s the hilliest grand tour for years and he’s only 20 we’re not sure how deep into the race he’ll go but he’s sure to give it his all.

Well some days are just shit.
Fin crashed early, ripped the back of his skinsuit and lost all gels. Super proud for finishing coming home around 50th I think.
Josh a nightmare with crashes, punctures and a DQ. Not going to comment as haven’t seen it but I love/hate this race.

He’s off at 15:40 UK.
So much respect for him forgoing the U23 event and challenging himself against the world’s best. I have no idea how he’ll go other than I know he’ll give his all.

Thanks for all the concerned messages. We’ve heard from him and he’s ok, extremely gutted and off to hospital having crashed out of the breakaway in today’s Paris-Nice.
I quit being a cycling Dad now.
Josh has unfortunately suffered a crash on stage seven of
#ParisNice
and has abandoned the race.
Our medical team has assessed him and have sent him to hospital for imaging. Further update to follow.

Fin kicked off his road season in Belgium. Survived the carnage of Belgian racing to finish in the front group in a reduced bunch sprint.

Belgium bound m, Fin and I stopped off to ride the Cheltenham CC 10 mile TT. I rode this course in my teens 30yrs ago.
I used to hold the junior record of 22:57, Fin now has the outright course record of 19:19 🤦♂️ Not bad for a chilly night on a lumpy B-road course.

Super proud of Fin this weekend, just smashed the Hereford Wheelers 25 mile / 40km Time Trial to set a new PB of 48:06 on a grim, cold, wet day. That’s rapid and faster than big bro 😉

Stage 2 done and it was climbing team duties today. Worked his wet and soggy socks off for Egan who took 2nd. Came in around mid-thirties after a very wet, cold day. Bike change meant no transponder so not on provisional results yet so don’t worry 😉
