10 years ago, the Book of Concord was published in Swahili for the first time. It was my father's last great project, a 15-year labour of love together with translators across E Africa, bringing the Lutheran confessions to millions of Swahili-speaking Lutherans.

The front row is where babies belong. I can preach louder than any baby I've met can cry, and longer than most do.

I'm a PK. I had a happy childhood. Dad was very busy, true, but he and mum worked brilliantly together, and when he was available, he really was.
All my six siblings are believers married to believers with believing children (24 in total).
Ask a Protestant about the phenomenon of “PK’s” (Pastor’s Kids), and you’ll know making married priests the norm is not only not a panacea, but a recipe for family disfunction.

It's very striking that the word "justification" is not used once in Luther's Small Catechism. Luther teaches salvation to children by means of narrative, rather than conceptos or terminology.
