@abu_salihh96 @waasim_ @aamullanee It’s not an either or. Fiqh is contextual as well and the most works on Islam after Arabic is Urdu, according to what people have told me. So there is a heritage and immense gems and literature in the Urdu language which need to be preserved.

Nothing wrong with day dreaming about a united Islamic polity.
Caliphate is also mostly coping for Muslims due to the impotence and weakness of the Islamic civilization in modern times. They need to daydream about an insane political entity coming to save them, to make up for their current sad state of affairs.
