A house is just something you buy. A home is something you create, the family is something you make. None of these are easy, but all of them are the ultimate expression of your humanity. I love my house because of how it protects my family and contains much of our daily life together. It’s almost guaranteed that when you create a family, you’re appreciation for a house and a peaceful place for your children will materialize.

IMHO So many have gotten away with so much for so long it feels like it should all be revisited because the foundation is rotten and AI/ML based on garbage leads to more garbage. Fun and easy to build tools but the root problem of bad inputs needs to be solved more than anything. Sorry to derail

I think there’s plenty of evidence showing that impulse control and other personality traits, which can be hereditary in nature, along with cultural incompatibilities, our big part of the problem. So your arguments fall flat. There really is no better solution for all parties than to hold people responsible for how they react to their circumstances. It’s not perfect but it’s an important part of being human to learn to accept responsibility for your own actions.
