Conversations with those who oppose presumption of #5050parenting (IME mostly women) mostly end with this unanswered question, because if they answer 'mum', they have to admit that they are gender stereotyping women into outdated, anti-feminist and discriminatory roles.
@Townsendnowfree If there shouldn’t be presumption of 50-50 parenting upon separation, then what should the default position be upon separation? Who should the child live with?.

1/ Too often parents opposing #5050Parenting say it’s bad for children. The reality is these parents are the ones unable to cope with the separation. They need to manage their own anxiety not pass it onto their children or using them to regulate it.
