i’m still not over this. can we talk about the fact mya perez is a freshman who didn’t have a single XBH in her career before this, fell down 0-2, worked back to 2-2, and then hit a game tying BOMB in the B7 for her first XBH & HR (IN HER CAREER?!?!?!?!)????? 1/2 ⬇️.

RANKINGS. DON’T. MATTER!!! I remember in 7th/8th grade i was ranked 250-300 (i don’t remember exactly) and thought something was wrong with me… now i’m a senior in high school going to a great school!! QUIT RANKING GIRLS IN MIDDLE SCHOOL/ANY GRADE AND LET THEM PLAY.
A mental health action item to start @ an early age; stop ranking middle school girls @ExtraInningSB. The 9/1 JR year rule was for a reason yet publications still rank 7th & 8th grade🥎 girls. The only purpose is for your own clicks. JR High is hard enough.

today we lost one of the most passionate and loving people in not just the softball community, but in the world. coach doug loved each player as if he was their own, he made such an impact on each one of us. he will be so dearly missed, please pray for his family. we love you ❤️
