@Natvrepilled I do agree. I just think justifying p*rn use for failure on her part to do her duty went too far. Married men who have sex with their wives regularly still do this, so it’s not the issue.

The p*rn discussion is a catch 22. Anywhere you go with it, it’s a trap. Men are gonna blame their wife not having sex with them to justify their pr*n or mast**tion. The wife is going to say she lost respect and didn’t want to have sex with him bc of his p*rn use and thinks “he doesn’t need me or want me anyway”. Or a lack of understanding for her emotional state (having a baby or in the thick of raising kids) and resenting her husband for not supporting (which happens a lot). It’s a vicious cycle, driving them more and more apart. The culprit here is always going to be the p*rn and lack of leadership and self restraint on the part of the man as he should be the head. A man who can’t control himself and resorts to seeking out other woman is going to further destroy his wife and her respect. It’s not going to solve anything. It’s also a failure of both parts to understand what a loving, committed marriage requires. Neither should blame the other for their lack of duty. Rather one should look at themselves first. “How can I serve my spouse” not “he/she isn’t doing her job”. Often it seems the man does need to take the initiative in this case. Women need love and attention through emotional support. Men need respect and require more sex. I think men assume women are just like them and feel their needs are met the same way. They are not.

The question must be asked why women aren’t wanting to have sex with their husbands. Womens need for love and emotional support is important too. Women lose respect of their husbands who will not understand her emotional state ie stress of raising children, giving birth etc. and men thinking they operate like men to get their needs met. Women will resent their husband when they feel unseen and neglected emotionally. Even more so when he continually retreats to p*rn use instead of cultivating the relationship.
