@RuckusPatrick @footballontnt And those players were playing when spurs beat villa 4-1 earlier in the season. Not to mention villa didn’t have a gruelling midweek game vs Liverpool away and 48 hrs to prepare. If roles were reversed and we had the 8 days to prepare instead, wed have won regardless of injuries.

@ben_bowman_ I mean we saw against liverpool he got almost no service down the middle so why not play him LW so he can showcase his skills? youve even mentioned him playing LW for us previously, so can’t be that horrid of a decision to have him LW tonight
Thoughts on Tel situation... - Still think there's a chance we get him (a slim one) - Super high ceiling, could be a game changing LW option for us - Don't think you can blame Levy & the club for missing out on this individual player, it would have been an opportunistic signing given how late in play his situation changed on the market + so many moving parts. The club have done all they can so far, but must keep pushing if this is their top target - Big frustration with Levy & the board comes from leaving ourselves in the position where if we don't get Tel, we're on Jan 31st still having not made an outfield signing - absolute negligence. I know Tel is an opportunity, but where was this energy to push this hard for someone else and improve other areas of the squad from Jan 1st?

Yeah Ange is not blameless, but with all the key injuries, while not being able to rotate along with having to play every 3 days for months… most managers would be struggling to adapt.
