11 months ago I had an accident & was no longer able to walk, talk properly & struggled with basic tasks. Then I found

& I tried to get out and take a picture to join in. This was the first and it was only a few steps. It took days and I gave up often in floods of tears

There are some work days you never forget.
The Palace of Westminster is a busy place and I admit I rarely spoke to the officers there to protect us.
PC Palmer gave his life protecting my colleagues and I that day. We went home.
I now never forget to stop and say thank you 💙

At the time of PC Palmers death I worked at the Palace of Westminster. I am ashamed that like a lot of people that work there I was often too busy to acknowledge the officers that work protecting us.I never now walk past his memorial without thanking him for his service. RIP 💙

As someone who lives in London I want a police force that deals with crime, supports victims on their worst day and works proactively with YP & communities to prevent crime and we are never going to have that until the social care sector is properly funded and repaired

696 days ago my life changed following a head injury.
Recovery at times has been tough but slowly I have got there
Today I am giving a talk to 600+ people. Terrifying for someone who couldn’t speak a word
But I have got this. I am where I am meant to be
