This case is an ideal example for your statement. Though her presenting symptom was on rt side , probably RIRS would have yielded papilla on both sides!

This patient - rt pyelonephritis with necrotic papilla - papilla removed and DJ stent done After a week lt pyelonephritis with papilla - stented on lt side After four weeks - BL RIRS done Papilla found on both side!!
