If you expect students to collaborate, think critically, and solve problems without hesitation, it must be embedded in your culture. Effective instruction occurs daily in science at @ELMS_PBC. Stop waiting for that “one day” - start now. @DRizzattiPBCSD #expectations

@shoewee @pbcsd @DrMillerEdu @jbarenburg As far as I’m concerned, you’ve always been one to watch. They’re just figuring it out now. 😉😊👏🏻

@missreb21 @united @JetBlue And we have enough challenges as educators… the idea of throwing away money when our paychecks are paltry is really disappointing.

@missreb21 @JoePeccia @WestBoyntonMS Providing students with multiple ways to demonstrate their learning is what excellent instruction looks like! Love it! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The connection between engagement and learning is stronger than the smell of AXE body spray in a middle school. When you plan with interaction in mind, you create opportunities for students to learn from and with each other. Just my two “scents.” 👏🏻😉
Why review just one way? Students enjoyed reviewing the unit with these 6 different stations today! @JoePeccia @superherobarbie @WestBoyntonMS

As educators, we often strive to make our voices heard, especially in a middle school classroom. 😉 So, to see my words in print for the world to share is pretty special. 🥰 #thankfulthursday
Nothing beats those moments when you can actually see the joy of learning on Ss' faces. 🤩 (Wisdom via teacher @superherobarbie) #JoyfulLeaders

@missreb21 @JoePeccia @WestBoyntonMS One of my faves! The simplest activities are often the most powerful! 👏🏻

@missreb21 @JoePeccia @WestBoyntonMS There’s a difference between “I taught it” and “my students learned it.” This, my friend, is the latter! 🙌🏻

One of many reasons @missreb21 is on my dream team! When Ss are planning & delivering lessons according to an effective model of instruction, you know that these practices are in play daily. TY for trusting me & being so willing to take risks. Bowing down… 👏🏻🏆 @WestBoyntonMS

@missreb21 @JoePeccia @WestBoyntonMS Miss, markers are mixtures?!?!?! 😮😉 I bet one of those kids went home and did it for their parents… a lesson they won’t forget! 👏🏻😊

@missreb21 @JoePeccia @WestBoyntonMS I often wonder if your kids know how lucky they are. 😊 Sadly, many students will learn about acids and bases this year without ever touching litmus paper.

Students often struggle with understanding things they can’t see. If you make it visible using the simplest ideas, you’re guaranteed to hear “ohhhhhhhh, I get it” followed by a smile. That’s a great day if you ask me. ❤️
Learning about waves using dominoes! Kids loved it, and I loved that they understood how sound waves move through different mediums! Yay!!! @JoePeccia @superherobarbie @WestBoyntonMS
