If you're confused about probiotics vs prebiotics & where to start, here's some advice: Start with PREbiotics Specifically prebiotic fiber like resistant starch. Many probiotics fail to colonize / reach the gut. Resistant starch feeds the probiotics *already* in your gut.

2/ Resistant starch is special because it can have properties of both soluble AND insoluble fiber. It slows absorption of sugar in the upper gut & bulks the stool in the lower gut. Plus, it ferments, increasing powerful metabolites that regulate metabolism & inflammation.
