im so tired of ppl not treating anorexia like the deadly disease it is . the reality is that many of us on this site will die and another large portion will experience serious lifelong health issues even if we recover. yes, even those of us who feel like we're "barely sick"

one of the weirdest things malnutrition made me do is have to 100% finish EVERYTHING-- im talking licking plates/yogurt lids, eating the crumbs, etc. your brain literally becomes desperate for ANY calories it can get and its kind of terrifying

it's 100% okay if you physically recovered super fast-- that doesn't invalidate your ed at ALL . if you weight restored and lost a lot of physical symptoms within weeks/months , that does NOT mean you were any less sick . its FANTASTIC if your body healed quickly !!!
