there's something about the way a drawing can capture a moment so perfectly that just. really gets to me. love and pain is reflected so well in small moments and micro expressions. its also a universal language! art transcends the need for words and I think that's so lovely :)

@mondcell the comment about "blood on her hands" is definitely right, but i didnt mean for it to be quite that literal- originally, i thought of it more in a sort of poetic manner? "her blood is their own and she mourns its spilling, teary-eyed and hands red with grief".

Secondly, I dont hate alicent in any capacity; I think she's lovely, in fact. Morally gray, yes, and has led a very unfortunate life, but not a character I find myself hating. Need to clarify my stance on this because I don’t draw Alicent grieving to fuel a hate agenda. 3/4.
