@EUDiabetesForum welcomes @sugarydoc as new board member, he will represent @IDFEuropeBXL and the voice of people living with diabetes in our work. Dr Hussain is a London based, UKRI funded clinician-scientist working in one of UK’s largest and leading diabetes services. He has a specialist interest in the implementation of novel therapies and technologies, including open-source, user-owned data systems, hybrid-closed loops and cell therapy. As someone with over 30 years lived experience with type 1 diabetes, he combines his personal and professional experience to deliver a unique focus on person-centred holistic care for people with diabetes.
