I was a ballet dancer, then dance & fitness instructor, marathon runner, personal trainer. Since retirement, I kept weight lifting, cycling & spinning. Lately I bike most days, walk/run other days. I lift weights on my deck & do high steps, lunges & squats.

I have a friend who lost 30 pounds in a couple months & the ONLY change she made to her diet was to stop drinking Diet Coke. She used to drink Diet Coke all day. She switched to water.

breakdown” I told my psychiatrist that my dad used to make me bare my bottom & beat me with a belt. I made the excuse that lots of kids were beaten back then. He said, lots of kids were physically & sexually abused. Made me realize that I was.
