Thank you Charlene @CofGCollege for having some of @St_Rochs senior pupils along this morning to learn about the support that is available to them. It was especially lovely to have one of our ex-pupils share his experience of the transition to college. 🙂

We had such a fun day today! Time spent with friends in the morning at the cinema watching a Christmas movie, then an afternoon at George Square’s Christmas Market 🎄 First up was ice skating! ⛸️

S1 had a go at dip-coating in Technical this morning. This is the final step of their garden trowel metalwork project. Well done all.

Two of our senior learners led a departmental assembly today. They briefed younger pupils on being ‘Ready, Responsible and Respectful’ and discussed Pupil Voice. They are wonderful role models to younger pupils 🙂

A massive good luck to our wonderful Sports Leadership programme who are shortlisted from the ‘Supporting Young Glaswegians Award’ which takes place this Monday coming! Thanks to all involved from @StRochsPEHWB1 and @strochsec_dde for this recognition to the school community 🏆🤞🏼

S1 started the week by getting stuck into their metalwork project 🔨 They are in the process of making a gardening trowel. 🌺 Can’t wait to see the finished product!

We’ve had a lovely week celebrating Mr Donnelly and letting him know how much we appreciate him 🥹 Today might have been his last day with with us, but we are sure he will come and visit… especially if there are chocolates in the staffroom 😉 Good luck, Mr Donnelly! 👋🏼
