One of the most notable changes to existing attacks in the next update is a new condition for Dave's lv5 super to hit. Rather than being impossible to avoid, the smuppet pile now has to make contact with the opponent to activate. (4/5)

Important note about the beta, there is a mistake in the movelist text file
In Dave's moveset, "Smuppet Smackdown" is listed with the input ➡️⬇️↘, a+c, while the correct input is ⬇️↘➡️, a+c
this, and some in-game issues will be addressed in a hotfix that will be released soon

<UPDATE> Beta v1.02 is LIVE at !! This update focuses on fixing many of the issues reported over the past few days, most notably a number of balance issues for Dave, as well as new and improved AI

beta v1.01 hotfix is out, with two minor but important fixes:
- Dave's air medium kick attack now has hitboxes
- MOVELIST.txt has the correct inputs written in it now
you will have to redownload the game from itch for these changes.

The original premise of the project was a rendition of the rooftop strife battle between Dave and Bro, so Dave ended up becoming the face of the project for a while. It also helps that Dave's weapon is more simple to work with and was a good starting point for fighter design.
