So @taylorswift13 was epic but the crowd were not… I have never dealt with such nasty people before. I had to keep going the toilet and was treated with contempt whenever I went back to my spot. Despite explaining I have a medical condition. 1/3

Today, four vans parked on the pavement, meaning I had to risk getting hit by oncoming traffic on a busy road. They could have parked anywhere else…I said to one of the workmen, “Nobody in a wheelchair would be able to pass here.” His response was, “Bore off”. If that doesn't tell you the general public’s view of disability, I Don't know what will.

I live for these nameless accounts that all seem to know someone “faking” a disability to get PIP because the second you ask them to identify the fraudulent claimants, they go completely silent.

@stomababe No one on here has yet been able to be specific or name and shame anyone, it’s astonishing (not!) The fact that PIP is awarded according to how a person’s disability affects how they live and/or work, not their diagnosis, seems to be the main sticking point.

@stomababe The o% figure is misleading. The whole basis on which a person can claim pip needs 2 b looked at. The fact is 2 many people are playing the system. just because a person has a ‘disability’ doesn’t mean they aren’t capable like everyone else of being dishonest and lying
