As part of our learning about celebrations and diversity, P4M welcomed Lizzie into our classroom to tell us about Rosh Hashanah - Jewish New Year. She read a book and talked about the ways that this important holiday is celebrated.

In P4 we have been thinking about some of the challenges faced by people with disabilities, as well as celebrating some of their significant successes. We learnt about the development of Braille and used a Perkins Brailling machine to write our names in Braille.

P3 were treated to a performance by Justyna Jablonska today and learned a lot about diversity in music genres, instruments and ways of playing an instrument. What a wonderful way to start our day! #diversityweek

P1 were very excited today to receive a letter from our class bear, Ted. It’s his birthday on Friday and he would like us to help him plan the celebration. Today we created invitations to ask the nursery pupils to join us for the party on Friday.
