Class 2 were so excited to post letters to Santa and everyone received a letter back. A huge thank you to Santa’s elves who help him reply to our children’s letters. It was truly magical 🎅🏽

For their homework this week, Class 3 designed and built some fantastic Christmas packaging to protect a crisp as it is dropped from a great height, kicked like a football and thrown high into the air. We had a brilliant afternoon testing and evaluating them. Well done everyone!

Class 1 forest school this week was mostly exploring art in the style of Andy Goldsworthy. We moved our big pieces of wood and used leaves and smaller sticks. We added and changed our designs as our ideas evolved. We also loved watching our slow-mo videos of a brick splashing!

Hot chocolate was definitely needed at forest school today! Lots of team work and digging today to keep us warm. We saw footprints in the snow and watched the snow glisten in the sun.

Yesterday 8 children from school worked very hard all morning to plant 4 new trees in the village conker field provided by the Parish Council. It was very hard work to dig deep holes to put the trees in. But the sun was out and our coats came off and we got stuck in! @Rise_MAT

Children from Classes 2,3 and 4 had a wonderful time at Computing Club this lunchtime, where we put the final touches to our Ghostbusters games just in time for Halloween!

Class 1 have been following the journey of flour from the farmer growing the grain and the harvest to us learning how to make bread today. I hope you enjoyed eating it all up!

We are very excited to finally meet our Ugandan linked school and share what our schools have in common

The children are looking forward to our Harvest Festival service this afternoon and have some amazing African songs ready to perform connected to our link school in Uganda who we will be video calling next week! Thank you to everyone who has donated to Project 5000.

Class 3 have been learning about the story of Theseus and the Minotaur in English this week. The children wrote their own fantastic accounts of the battle. Everyone did a brilliant job - well done Class 3! @Rise_MAT
