In worship this half term we are thinking about creativity. We looked at the creation story and how Christians believe we get our creativity from God. We thought about how we need to take responsibility for the world around us and used @HelpPicture to think about the LA wildfires

The #homework kept on coming this morning. So pleasing to see so many of our pupils, from right across school, choosing to engage in our homework. @stmargaretsoldh homework is presented as a menu where students can pick and choose which tasks they complete. #APlacetoBECOME

Inspired by her RE learning yesterday, where children were learning about what is precious to Jewish people, Iris went home and produced her own scroll for a Mezuzah with her own important words that she would like to display to help her remember them. Well done Iris

#ThrowbackThursday to last week where we thought about #Epiphany ⭐️and the wise men’s visit to the Holy Family. Children @stmargaretsoldh took part in traditional epiphany #Blessings and thought about the stars they may need to follow in their own lives to achieve their dreams.

We've had a defibrillator at @stmargaretsoldh for several years: today key members of staff updated their knowledge of using the defibrillator as well as other aspects of #FirstAid. Thanks to Andrew @tq_uk for a great session in this most important area. #RestartaHeart

Only at the beginning of our new #worship theme, but had some fantastic engagement already. As usual, our classroom doors are adorned with #prayer activities - keeping worship high profile, creating a sense of belonging and encouraging regular reflection. #APlacetoBECOME

They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them. #ArmisticeDay #RemembranceSunday

Fantastic to be back @stmargaretsoldh. Last half term we looked at different types of #bravery; we ended the half term with the story of Esther and using our voices to speak out. Several pupils have returned to school this week having completed acts of #courageousadvocacy

Our new ethos team have been so busy so far this year: giving out lights they've designed and made to each class for use in worship, recording a school version of The Lord's Prayer, helping lead #prayers and a training session this morning on leading our @HelpPicture sessions.

We've had the most wonderful two days with @H2MSchools providing us with a fantastic spiritual journey. KS2 children reflected on 'who they are becoming'. Feedback from both children and staff was fantastic - thank you. #Blessed
