This is why “food deserts” exist in some cities. No company can operate where this sort of thing happens. Grocery stores exist to make a profit on the food that people buy. Why should they be open in a place where they incur losses like this.

So what? My Grandpa worked every day on his little dairy farm until he was 77 years old. THAT is something to marvel at…not this. I hate celebrity worship. I have tons more respect for the hard working people that get up every morning and go to work to support their families.

This actually happened to us. A skinny little black and white cat came here everyday to eat ravenously, then leave. Came one day with three kittens. We found homes for all three kittens, and kept Mom here with us. We named her Squeak. She now lives a life of leisure.

How far can it pull 40,000 lbs of freight...into a 20mph headwind...uphill...at 70mph...in the winter? Does the reefer trailer run off the battery too? Sorry...I can’t see it working well for OTR applications.

Well, it’s more of an indirect, long term thing like second hand smoke. Studies have shown that climate change shortens male life spans by an average of 6 minutes. For females, it’s 40 seconds. I just made that up...but that’s okay, so did the climate change alarmists.

Hats off to that man. He may have done that kid a favor that might be just the thing to turn him around. Old school punishment can be hard to watch, but damned if it didn’t get better results than doing nothing. Some kids don’t respond to anything but this. I know…I was one.

A dirt race or two for sure, but not at Bristol. Bristol is too great a track to tinker with. I’d rather see dirt races than road course races. Just can’t get into stock cars on road courses. Get rid of a road course and do a dirt race somewhere instead.
