NEW: Woman expecting to mooch off the U.S. taxpayer is shocked to find out that her local HIV clinic in South Africa has been closed down. This looks incredibly scripted. Reporter: Are you trying to go to the clinic? Woman: Yeah. Reporter: It's closed. Woman: What happened? Reporter: USAID funding has been frozen, so they're closing down clinics. Woman: I don't know what to do. What will I do? There's nothing.

@DiscussingFilm No one thought making Superbad was hard. Also, I think the general complaint about comedy being harder now than in the past is specific to stand-up comedy. We're living in a very conformist period culturally, and comics are directly up against it in clubs and on campuses.

But even if you think it should've, COVID isn't an STD and AIDS wasn't a pandemic. It was endemic not just to a specific community but explicit high-risk behavior among gay men, which they could've stopped but didn't. Govt can't save you from yourself.
