@TheSecretAcct Like the idea although I think £10 is enough to change behaviour. Simultaneously there should be tax relief on private medical premiums for both individuals and companies to incentivise those who can pay and want to pay to come out of the system altogether.

Never been more true than today. Only people ultimately pay taxes. Either directly, indirectly or in lost opportunity (eg less jobs). Employers NI is the stupidest of taxes as it disincentivises companies from hiring people who will then pay the other taxes (vat, IT, personal NI) nevermind the reduction in the benefits bill.
