Portraying Robbie as a monkey was an odd choice on the surface but it’s quirkiness drew me in and it was completely successful. Huge congrats to everyone who made this film and especially to Jonno Davies, Robbie Williams and Weta who created an incredible performance.

I knew nothing about musician Robbie Williams (whom this film’s extravagant and controversial life story is based on) before seeing the film and I think it was a good thing as I had no expectations either positive or negative. I just took the protagonist as a fictional character
