Your RR doesn't really matter, you just have to make sure your WR is higher relative to your RR.
Here's a quick guide:

XAUUSD average should be near 10 cents, 16 cents is pretty high I would say. Standard raw spreads for EURUSD and USDJPY are around 1-2 cents so that's nothing to brag about I would say. Take a look at BTCUSD too lol, that spread is crazy
You have to factor in the slippage too
