Finished! One super squishy nylon bodysuit for

. Made with glossy nylon fabric on the outside and soft nylon lining inside. The handpaws attach to the suit with zippers.
Lots of technical sewing went into this suit and I'm really pleased with the result!

I was so happy to debut my nylon dragon suit at Scotiacon. Many people wanted to see what the material felt like and have a chat about the suit - lots of hugs were given! Hopefully at Confuzzled, some others can try the suit on and go for a wander - see what a response they get.

It's NyFi - the shinier version of Fi the dragon! Made with soft taffeta nylon inside and out, push style hands and feet attached with zippers, and some cute little wings! So happy how this turned out. I'm hoping to make a matching nylon head later in the year.

1. What does it feel like
2. Is it really hot
1 - Comfy to wear, extremely lightweight, very soft/smooth.
2 - Its no warmer than a thick/padded fursuit, however nylon doesn't allow a cool breeze through it, which can be a pain.

Done! From a Blender model, all the way through to some nice shiny nylon feetpaws. These ones have built-in zippers for attaching them to an upcoming bodysuit. Nice plush beans on the underside too - these paws are very soft and huggable!

Finished the first attempt at a prototype nylon stuffed handpaw pattern. Definitely lots of improvements need to be made, particularly to the shape, but for a weekend project, making a sewing pattern totally from scratch, its not turned out too bad.

WIP: mouth lining all sewn down. Teeth and tongue are pinned in position, but should be ready for glue soon. Eyes need some lining, then they can be glued too. It's all coming together!

These plush nylon handpaws are now finished! Really happy with how the design turned out - they feel very soft and look just how I imagined. These ones also have zippers so they can be attached to my upcoming nylon dragon suit. Not that you'd want to take them off or anything...
