Thankfully, officials say the two pilots ejected shortly before impact. According to the U.S. Coast Guard, the pilots landed in the water and were rescued by a nearby fishing boat. They were in the water for only a minute before being transported to the hospital, where they are in stable condition. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
