just watched an interview where jacob talks about how in his opinion even though louis is the most humane vampire he hates human beings and that’s just the complete opposite of lestat
thinking about it now and lestat drinking louis’ blood is not even as weird as him literally stopping time and louis basically being like 🤷🏽♂️ i guess that’s what people are doing in europe
“... all of you better run or my brother will kill you, he’s a Stark, he’s more wolf than man, and so am I.” — Arya VIII, ACOK
“Robb will kill you all, she thought, exulting. [...] He beat your uncle and your brother Jaime, he’ll beat your father too.” — Sansa III, ACOK
even the way viserys favors rhaenyra is not good fathering to her guys 😭 that bred resentment between her and his other children and basically taught rhaenyra that she would never face consequences to any of her actions
comparing viserys to ned is wild to me. like viserys neglected 4 of his children whereas ned loved all his children and raised his sister’s son as his own and kept his true identity a secret. that deadbeat will never be ned stark
#iwtvspoilers
the claudia implications the show left are kind of crazy because watching her last episode saying that her existence was just “one more round in the stormy romance” of louis and lestat felt so poignant and this episode basically confirms it
people should just leave bailey bass alone and stop making assumptions.. you don’t know this girl or the actual circumstances of her leaving the show and atp it doesn’t really matter, delainey is a superb claudia
“It’s true his family doesn't need him. They will mourn him, as will a handful of friends. But they will get on. Even Haymitch, with the help of a lot of white liquor, will get on. I realize only one person will be damaged beyond repair if Peeta dies. Me.”
still thinking about what change sam was talking about when he said there would be something that is a departure from the books and people might be upset but it makes sense for a future plotline..
seeing someone so strong and so powerful like armand being weakened by something as human and mundane as love and wanting to be loved is fascinating honestly
the flippant way in which writers use sexual violence to punish women without any regard to if it serves the story or not is just so upsetting to me it feels like they don’t really know any other way to make a woman suffer
“Sansa had the grace to blush. She blushed prettily. She did everything prettily. [...] Sansa could sew and dance and sing. She wrote poetry. She knew how to dress. She played the high harp and the bells. Worse, she was beautiful.“
🗣🗣🗣 jaime lannister is not on a redemption arc. he’s a character that does some heroic things, but he doesn’t perceive his bad actions as things he have to apologize or at least feel bad for. how can one redeem himself when he can’t even feel guilty for his past actions?
the thing that is so important about that last scene between louis and daniel is that even though that night in sf was extremely traumatic, for the first time louis is seeing his actions as something that long term had a positive impact on someone he cares for
i didn’t see someone comparing 13 year old sansa wanting to kill the guy that beheaded her father even though he promised to be merciful to adult daenerys that was willing to kill innocent people just to get to cersei i didn’t see it
sansa’s coronation being one of the first things sophie filmed makes so MUCH sense! i don’t think i’ve ever seen sansa more regal, more secure on her own skin than in season 8.
some targ stans that claim to like jon just don’t seem to get his character at all... how can you say you love him and at the same time root for winterfell to burn to the ground? after everything he and sansa did to get it back? even when you know how important it is to him 🤨
jon had 3 lines this season: “titles don’t matter” were his for the first three episodes, for 4-5 he had a bigger range, he could go from “i don’t want it” to “you’re (or she is) my queen, nothing is going to change that”.
i will NEVER forgive d&d!!!!!!!!! we really could’ve had it all with these two fighting side by side on the battle of winterfell. instead we got jon being on top of a dragon going on a date with his gf.
a lot of questions about how will louis be a part of s3 and yeah that’s valid but how about daniel?? if he’s not involved with the telling of tvl how is he going to still be a part of the show
the thing i really enjoyed from littlefinger’s death scene is that there’s no vengeful tone to it. just like sansa said, “it’s not what i want, it’s what honor demands”. this is painful to her, but it’s what she needs to do, it’s her responsibility to her family.
A ‘source’ tells Page Six that Joe Jonas tried to ‘salvage’ his marriage with Sophie Turner before filing for divorce:
“Divorce was a last resort for Joe. He never wanted to break up his family, but he had to take what he felt was the best course of action for his girls.”
I was just remembering how all the xenophobic Westerosi people (especially the Northerners ESPECIALLY Sansa) were like “you can’t fucking trust a fucking Targaryen”…and then they were just…RIGHT? That’s the message we’re going with?
Sigh sigh sigh sigh sigh.
idk i feel like the discussion about iwtv not having purely romantic scenes is kind of silly because louis’ interview is basically him being jaded about his relationship with his abusive ex
i find it so funny that some people say sansa is stupid/useless and at the same time she’s a villain master manipulator littlefinger’s female clone, can’t they at least be coherent
arya will be forever remembered in stories as this warrior princess that avenged the red wedding. songs will be written about her, on how she was the one to kill the night king and ultimately defeat the dead. she will be to future girls what nymeria martell was for her.
“The only way to keep your people loyal is to make certain they fear you more than the enemy.”
“I will remember, Your Grace,” said Sansa, though she had always heard that love was a surer route to the people’s loyalty than fear. If I am ever a queen, I’ll make them love me.”
rhaegar with that ugly viserys wig was such a disappointment, am i to believe that he was the man that made cersei willing to give up incest? i don’t think so
as much as madeleine has sympathetic qualities she’s not supposed to be a paragon of moral virtue and honestly considering the circumstances idt any human that is that would even get involved with claudia like that
