when did people start treating this as a blockable offense? personally id be flattered but also, maybe a decade ago, this was a super common way to show that you liked someone’s work, am i getting that old already? 🥲
Since we’re talking about fatness in the community, here’s a thread of my fave art I’ve done that includes fat/bigger bodies!
None of this is fetish art, I’m just a fat guy who likes drawing himself :)
happy day two of shrimp week!!!!!! did you know that california’s monterey bay aquarium has a shrimp quiz? i’m a brine shrimp! what kind of shrimp are you? (l!nk below!)
the whole “my oc vs how others draw them” is only highlighting to me that maybe people aren’t putting enough detail into their reference sheets? if certain anatomical details are different/worth noting, make that abundantly clean instead of blaming other artists you sillies
who wants to draw a fat guy in exchange for a fair and sustainable wage so that you may prosper financially and I may gaze upon a depiction of myself lovingly crafted through the hands, eyes, and soul of an artist?
Drawing fat bodies can be daunting at first, even if you’re fat! Learning to do it has made me a better artist and has helped me be kinder to myself :)
ALSO PLS DROP YOUR ARTFIGHT REFS!!!! (and pls pls pls include your profile link!!) artfight’s website will basically be impossible to use tomorrow but i wanna be prepared :3

yea! i posted that in one of my comments a little earlier after i did some digging! it sucks that anti-bot technology has destroyed the whimsy in online interactions 🥲
@Astro_Boxx
i don’t think comparing *gender affirming* surgery scars with *self-harm* scars is the “gotcha” moment you thought it was. that is a strange place to bring this conversation
@Project_vixen
so this isn’t actually for women and enbies, just the ones that you think have the “correct” experience with femininity? also, is it regular practice to have mods go through and essentially stalk your accounts to prove that you’re not “fem” enough to join?
