You train your dog to recognize the audible warning tones. When changing fences or utilizing them at different locations, we recommend walking the dog up to the boundary so that they are aware of where it is.

There's two audible warning tones (10 ft and 5 ft from the boundary) followed by a vibration or optional static correction at the boundary for 10 seconds. Your dog will not receive a correction upon reentry.

Static is optional. Many of our customers have trained their dogs using only vibration. The audible tones will not hurt their ears.

SpotOn's fences work off GPS alone. You do not need any cell service or subscription for fences. We'd recommend creating a Home Zone within the fence as doing so will shut off collar corrections when your dog is indoors.
