The Rams could then look to trade down from 3 to acquire more picks next year to move up for a quarterback.

Love this deal, fired up for Bregman. Hopefully the Sox hold onto him long term. The opt-outs make me a little nervous. I would hate to see him be the next Beltre and be one and done if he has a big season. However, the focus for now is on 2025 so let’s go!!!!

It was sad when Sox front office folks would try to convince themselves that they were a playoff team the last few years. It’s such a relief that the playoffs are actually back to being the expectation. That should always be the case for the Boston Red Sox, but we’re back now.

The Red Sox drafted Alex Bregman in the 29th round of the 2012 MLB Draft. He didn’t sign and went to LSU. Ended up getting taken 2nd overall by the Astros in 2015. Now, over a decade later, he’s a Red Sox.
