SportNL is saddened to hear of the loss of George Faulkner, Newfoundland’s first pro hockey player and a 1982 Hall of Fame inductee. In 1966, he led Canada to bronze at the World Championships, scoring 7 goals and 3 assists. Learn more about his legacy:
