Well it looks like Disney XD is now a death treatment for animated shows. DuckTales will most likely be ending after its 3rd season. And I wouldn’t be surprised if the same happens with Big Hero 6: The Series.

When you think about it Max’s original kids cartoon slate is kind of like the Kids WB of this decade. Shows like Scooby and Guess Who, Jellystone, Looney Tunes Cartoons, Gremlins. Newer renditions of classic HB/WBA properties airing first run on a major broadcaster now streamer.

-Paramount is eyeing selling their local independent stations.

-Paramount was in a very low financial space, so a buy out was inevitable
-Skydance was the least harmful to Paramount brand. Many plans to preserve the Paramount brand as a whole and expound on it.
Paramount & Skydance have officially announced their plans to merge! Paramount will be out of the Redstone family hands and now controlled by David Ellison. This new era of Paramount will be referred to as “New Paramount”. They even have a tentative logo that looks…interesting.

Update: Looks like Monster High is still actively in production. A Season 3 renewal depends on how well it does on Nickelodeon, DVD, Digital, YouTube, etc. And Nickelodeon isn’t necessarily quick to renew shows for another season right away at this point.
