Made a couple of posters a while back in an attempt to shake off some creative fatigue (as well as win some buccs in the case of the former...) The creative fatigue did not pass until much later and I won no buccs (lmao...) but I ended up w/ posters and now you can have them too

The PDA is now a standalone device that can be accessed at (almost) any time (previously its functionality was strictly tied to Avery's pack, as an inventory management system); it now includes, amongst more functions soon to come, a map that will probably not help you #gamemaker

The player can now """inspect""" objects before picking them up, in case for whatever reason you wanted to examine stones and sticks in hi-res detail... I've also implemented a new shadow system w/ more realistic angles relative to the sun #gamemaker #screenshotsaturday

Spent an entire day revisiting every single player sprite (150 different sprites, with something like 1200 individual frames...) to add a single pixel to her wrist because I suddenly decided while writing her journal that she should have timekeeping after all... #gamemaker

I've gotten enough questions about the influence of Lovecraft et al on My Work Is Not Yet Done, specifically the references to Carcosa and its centrality to the game's themes and story, that I'll publicly state that yes, it's important but probably not in the way you're expecting

Added a visual effect for dirtiness, which accumulates over time when outdoors (particularly during rainfall), and increases the chance of infections, and drains willpower over time; dirtiness can be purged at the outpost's decontamination shower #gamemaker #screenshotsaturday
