Thank you, Jim. Unfortunately, the Catholic church has always been deeply embedded in politics. I have a close friend who is my family priest, and he comes over to the house all the time. We actually talk about that a lot. He is extremely pragmatic and loves to be in his historical context. He doesn’t agree with this decision or many of Pope Francis positions

😂 don’t say that! I’m wrong a lot. All kidding aside, this is very nice of you to say, Pat. I’m confident on what I put in my articles and I’m fairly confident in my understanding of the word. Well, I generally know where to start anyways. Many times, I don’t. When it comes to things like this, I did talk to my priest and he is a close family friend. He helped me through it.

Thank you, Dan! When this message first came out a few weeks ago, I was troubled. When it comes from the Vatican, I try not to make a knee jerk decision. I thought about it, I’ve prayed about it, I went back to the scripture, and I talked to my priest. My priest and I are aligned. He’s also a close family friend
